2024 Summerfest Celebration
Below you will find a lineup of this year's festivities. We hope you can make it out to celebrate!

If you would like a t-shirt, you can stop by the Chamber office to purchase. They also will be available at the park on Saturday and at the rodeo both nights.
*Keep in mind, there are some things on the full celebration schedule below that aren't on the flyer
Thursday,
July 18th
-
9am - Duck Hunt begins in Downtown O'Neill
-
10am to 6pm – Summer Artfest Show open for public viewing at the Holt County Economic Development
Office at 330 East Hancock Street (Old Depot Building) -
11am to 1pm – Meals on Wheels Fundraiser at the corner of 6th and Douglas – Beef hot dog, chips, cookie/bar and a bottle of water for $10 – Lots of toppings available for the hot dogs! Drive up and grab your meals!

2pm – Country Lane Retirement Village will have live music from 2pm to 3pm featuring Neon Lights. The
Community is invited! -
8pm to 10pm – Neon Lights Band will be performing at Handlebend Parking Lot – No Cover – Come out and
support local talent and enjoy some mules! -
9pm or Sunset – Great Plains State Bank Drive In Movie Night at the bank at 1100 E. Douglas Street – Bring your lawn chairs or blankets to sit on

10am – Chamber Coffee at the Concession Stand at the Rodeo Arena in Carney Park

10am to 1pm – Precision Exotics vehicles will be on display at the O’Neill Community Center Parking Lot. Stop By and see five exotic cars, including a Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari 458, Shelby GT 500, McLaren Artura, and Jeep Trackhawk

10am to 3pm - Lions Club Jail and Bail at the corner of 4th and Douglas

6pm - Summerfest Cycle Group departure from Handlebend. Bike out & back to Harte's Pub in Inman on the
Cowboy Trail. All ages and experience levels welcome -
6:30pm – Churches of O’Neill will be serving free hamburgers, chips and water at the corner of 2nd and Douglas Streets in the Anson Insurance Parking Lot

7pm - Mid-States Summerfest Rodeo at Carrol McKay Arena in Carney Park

7pm – O’Neill Hall of Fame Presentations will take place during the Summerfest Rodeo

7pm – 9pm – KBRX Radio will be playing cruise night music – They will not be set up anywhere

7pm to 9pm – Irish Capital Feline Foundation Freewill Donation Bake Sale and Raffle at their booth at the

9pm – Karaoke at the Good Timin’ Bar

9:30pm – First Ever Nebraska Fly In Night Air Show in Nebraska, at the O’Neill Airport

6:30am to 1am – Handlebend open – Beer Garden + Yard Games in the parking lot!

8am – till sold out – Irish Capital Feline Foundation Freewill Donation Bake Sale and Raffle at their booth at the airport vendor fair

8am to 10am – Fly in Breakfast at the O’Neill Airport – Free will donation, open to the public

8am to 3pm – Inside Sidewalk Sales in Downtown O’Neill

8am to 3pm – The Kinkaid Museum at the corner of 4th and Douglas will be open. Objects from the Time Capsule will be on display. There will be historical trolley tours of the city throughout the day also.

9am to 11am - Outdoor Chalk Drawing (open to all ages) at the Holt County Economic Development Office at
330 East Hancock Street (Old Depot Building). Chalk is provided or you may bring your own -
